How to share and carry a color palette
A palette becomes useful when another person can reopen it, understand the roles, and move it into the next tool without guesswork.
Share the decision, not just the screenshot
A screenshot carries mood but loses the values. Keep the HEX values, a short name for the palette, and one line about where each color belongs in the work.
CULRS lets you copy individual HEX values or a share link from the generator. That keeps the starting point easy to revisit while the final design evolves.
Carry context with the colors
When handing off a palette, include the intended background, text, action, and accent roles. If the palette is going to print, add the color-management and proofing requirements too.
The best export is not the most formats. It is the smallest package that lets the next person make the same decision with confidence.
