A short guide to the current palette studio—and a clear line between what CULRS does now and what belonged to the archived Mac-app site.
Do I need to install anything?
No. The current CULRS release is browser-first. Open the studio, make a palette, and use it without an account or a download.
Where does my palette live?
Your color choices and locked swatches are handled in the browser. CULRS does not need to send the palette to a server to generate it.
How many colors can I make?
Each palette has five colors: Mist, Petal, Center, Leaf, and Ink. Start with an anchor color, then choose an analogous, complementary, triadic, or monochromatic relationship.
Can I share a palette?
Yes. Use Copy link in the generator. The link preserves the selected color and harmony so someone else can open the same starting point.
What happened to the old Mac-app download?
The historical CULRS site promoted a Mac app. This release is an independently built, browser-first product, so we do not link an unverified legacy installer.
Can I use the colors in client or commercial work?
CULRS generates color values as a tool. You are responsible for checking any brand, trademark, accessibility, licensing, or client requirements that apply to your finished work.
